General Hospital No. 16 Nashville, Tenn. roll says “Returned to
duty.” [Previous Company muster rolls said “Present” with no
reason noted for a hospital stay. Perhaps it related to The battle
near Nashville, Tenn. December 16, 1864 which resulted in
hospitalization of many other soldiers in this regiment.]
